Horus Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 is a single RCR 123 Lithum-Ion battery based high quality Titanium flashlight. The titanium used in Q5 FD-1.3 is TA2 grade pure Titanium metal material. To be more specific, the Titanium used in Horus Q5 FD1.3 is 99.93% pure Titanium. The built quality and machining is excellent. Surface finish is smooth, but not slippery. Head of Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 has "Horus FD-1.3" engraved identifying the light model. Horus FD-1.3 operates with a forward click tail cap switch. LED chosen for Horus FD-1.3 is Premium Q5 binned Cree 7090 XR-E LED. There are 3 light output levels and two special modes (SOS and Strobe). The light out put levels are selected as Med-Low-High-Strobe-SOS. Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 is least 40 meters waterproof and passes the 1.14 MPA as per hydraulic pressure test carried by SGS Labs. According to Horus, on temperature stability front, Horus Titanium FD-1.3 works perfectly fine even after after 5 cycles of thermal shock test. Each cycle consisting 30 Minutes on 40 degree Celsius below zero degrees, 30 Minutes on 60 degree Celsius and these levels switched between every 5 Minutes. Same is true for three 200 cm drop tests performed by Horus.

Packaging: Horus Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 comes beautifully packed in red colored gift box packaging. The box has velvet finish.

Inside the box you will find a micro fiber polishing cloth covering Horus FD-1.3 Titanium.

Bezel: LED on Horus Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 is aligned perfectly in center. Reflector is aluminium built with light orange peel (LOP) finish. LED is premium Q5 binned Cree 7090 XR-E LED. Lens is High Hardness Artificial Sapphire. O-Ring seal is placed in between bezel and Sapphire lens. Since this is a dive rated Titanium flashlight, lens also has been treated with special double sided water proofing treatment on a nanometer scale.

Body: Horus Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 has simple 2 part construction with superb machining and flawless finish.

"Horus FD-1.3" engraved identifying the light model on Head of Titanium Q5 FD-1.3. What's inside the head is an advanced high efficiently electronic control circuit. Buck control electronic circuit has low voltage cutoff to protect RCR123 battery. As soon as the battery voltage drops below 3.2 Volts, the light turns off. The current drive levels for Horus Titanium Q5 FD-1.3 at Max light output is measured to be 690 mA, this is very near to Manufacturer stated 700 mA, similar is the case with Low light output current measured at 40 mA and Medium light output current measured at 390 mA. The brightness adjustment with this particular sample is done using PWM technique.
